Overview:

By crushing quartz stone and binding it together with a polymer resin, composite materials can be created that provide certain advantages over granite products. Engineered stone can require less maintenance and, compared to unsealed granite, has better resistance to stains.

Quartz surfaces can be engineered to a wide range of colors and patterns.

Common Uses:

Quartz products are gaining in popularity, particularly for kitchen countertops. It is not recommended for outdoor applications.
